Our purpose is to provide information about the Macintosh, its operating system, software, hardware and vendors. The meetings provide an opportunity to exchange information and experience. Our members comprise a wide range of computer experience, from the novice to business professionals. Each meeting provides a learning experience for members of all levels, along with an open forum for questions and answers.
Dues
Yearly Dues are $25.00 per year family membership. Your dues provide funding for special events, guest speakers and software. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month. Meeting time and location vary. Guests & visitors are always welcome!
Benefits
As a member of the Mac Mavericks, you will receive special offers on software and other valuable merchandise. Here are some examples:
1. Aladdin operates an online store, http://www.aladdinsys.com/support/usergroups/ugvalid.html with special pricing for user group members only. Purchase requires a user group code which changes monthly. Members can receive the user group code by emailing President Steve Hafenbredl.
2. The Apple MUG Store, http://www.applemugstore.com/, offers everything Apple. Purchase requires a login and password which changes monthly. The MUG Store is a cooperative venture between Apple and PowerMax to bring MUG members exclusive deals on the latest Mac products and special offers on discontinued and factory refurbished computers. You can access the PowerMax site from within the URL above.
